Partnership and Stakeholder Involvement
The Shanti Foundation collaborates with many national and local organizations and stakeholders. These include both governmental offices within the districts served such as Rural Municipalities, the Nepal Health Ministry, District Health Offices, and the Ministry of Women, Children, and Social Welfare. The Foundation is accountable to operate within established policies and guidelines as determined by the government. Significant collaboration with hospitals, police, and schools for programs helps to coordinate effective programs. Further partnerships include the National Federation of Women Living with HIV/AIDS (NFWLHA); the National Center for AIDS/STD Control (INCASC); the National NGO Network Group Against AIDS-Nepal (NANGAN); the Family Planning Association of Nepal (FPAN); the Mukti Network; Youth Vision, Putalisadak; and Life vs Addition, Sindhupalchok. The Shanti Foundation will continue to coordinate with national NGOs and international INGOs.
